Good afternoon, it is Saturday.
I've got lots of pictures to share. Enjoy!
We had plenty of fun on the 4th of July. We blew up plenty of fireworks and watched even more. Here John and Carol hang with most of their grand kids. Hansen was invited to celebrate with friends and reportedly had a great time.
Preston and Avery roasting marshmallows.
Lillie made this perfect cake! What you don't see it the amazing red, white, and blue layers under the frosting.
Starting with some smoke bombs. We moved on to bigger and crazier things, then watched the neighbors blowing off the big ones! My iphone camera pretty much stopped here.
Lillie's summer project? Paint her room! Lillie and primered over the bright pink one day, and repainted a couple days later. Lillie has this painting thing down!
The new color? Big Chill. Great name. And a good change for Lillie's room. Our favorite colorblind folks actually can't see much difference between the cool blue of the Big Chill and the hot pink that was.
Remember our new neighbor and all the notes on the cars? Now he is trying to trap neighborhood animals or something. I am toying with the idea of going to the thrift store and buying enough stuffed animals to place a new one in the trap each night. LOL. We have had conversations with the cats about not eating any yummy food surrounded by steel mesh cages...
I got to go to the Seattle Sounders game the other day. Safco field really is an amazing place. A frined and I took the train to and from the game. On the way home it was standing room only. I'm not sure what is worse, having lots of people in your bubble, or having to be in everyone else's bubble who is around us. I did get to see an amazing game by Jordan Morris, he is my favorite Sounder these days.
Two thumbs up! Hansen and his old rip stick. Skateboards and rip sticks are his favorite form of transportation when heading a few blocks over to John and Carol's house.
We will end this blog with some Schillings Hard Cider. Maren and I ventured out to their tasting room last night and picked up a couple of growlers. Yum!
