I haven't blogged for a few days, welcome back to me!
Lets start with the kid's ever growing and moving feet. Around the new year all the kids in every school are needing new shoes. Seems like your new school shoes from September really only last that long. Well, here is a pic:
Lillie had worn holes in her shoes and boots, so now she has new. Hansen the same, and Preston the same. The only new pair that didn't make this picture were Preston's orange converse shoes that were on his feet! The two fancy pairs of soccer cleats were a gift to the boys from John and Carol, Thanks! Lets see...Preston is now a size 11 to 11.5 and I think his feet have stopped growing for awhile. Hansen is a solid size 9 but I am a bit worried he may shoot right on through to bigger sizes. And Lillie between 2 and 3. Time to hit the kids with a freeze ray, they just keep growing.
This is our old TV. Notice the rounded glass front? Disregard the clutter. When thinking about watching the Superbowl for another year on this old TV, we have decided to join the thousands of others getting a good deal this week and upgrade our TV system. This is the first time in over 20 years that Maren and I have actually spent good money on a TV. The one we bought over 20 years ago is still around...it was bought with a gift card from a wedding gift! The others have been hand-me-downs.
See you tomorrow.
We will be entering a world of big and modern. In fact, I can only show you a picture of Hansen helping with the TV stand because buying and installing a modern TV system is not easy! We had Court with us for an hour last night after I had worked on it practically all day. And today we will have the Comcast person as well. By Sunday, we will watching in style! I'm guessing if you were on the moon you would be able to see and hear the new system:) I may show you a picture when it is all done and the messes are cleaned up.
See you tomorrow.
