Open house night.

Good morning, it is Wednesday.

Last night was open house night at Grass Lake. We got to check out Hansen and Lillie's class rooms and say "hi" to their teachers. Preston had Hansen's teacher and Hansen had Lillie's teacher, so we already know them and are very happy with the kid's placements.

Hansen had a very cool guitar hanging from the wall. His guitar totally stood out for its creativity. Looks like we have another amazing artist in the family. And he is right handed...go figure. Hansen also did amazingly well on last years MSP, scoring 100% in the writing section and getting very high (in the 4) marks on math and reading. Way to go is his guitar:

Lillie got to show me her room, her desk, and take me for a tour. She has a book box full of good books to read and is doing great in school herself. Here she is hamming it up for the camera while sitting at her desk.
Yesterday was also finally dry enough to mow the lawn. Tonight, besides piano lessons, I have a meeting for art docents...yes, I will be art docent to Lillie's class again this year.

See you tomorrow.

Wow, that's a really cool guitar! Some guitar manufacturer should make a real one like that. Lillie looks cute sitting at her desk. Art docent sounds like fun.
