pancakes for lunch, deck bench.

Good morning, it is Saturday.

Yesterday was another deck building day. It is getting closer and closer to being done, so maybe just another week. But it is raining today, supposed to rain tomorrow, so I may get a couple of days off.

Yesterday I put Preston in charge of lunch as I didn't want to take a break. He decided to make pancakes! Here he is making a very good batch of pancakes:

This is a nearly complete corner bench that I spent yesterday making. The railings will go over the top and meet into the railings for the deck. Hopefully next week it will be done!
Enjoy your Seafair weekend! Does it always rain on Seafair? Around here the two weekends in the summer you can almost guarantee rain are...the 4th of July and Seafair. Why is that?

See you tomorrow.

The deck with the bench railings looks fantastic! I think it looks better than lots of professionally done decks I've seen. Very nice!

Julian, we never cease to be amazed at the projects you take on. The deck with the corner bench is just wonderful. It's completely professional.
Preston's pancakes look just great, I could have some right now.

Thanks Mom and Bernice! The benches turned out very nice. Gives it a whole fancy look. The railings should tie into them nicely...hopfully done next week.

The pancakes were good!
