4th of July

Good morning, it is Monday.

Yesterday was a very fun 4th of July...as it is every year!

First it was off to the B-Town Parade:

Lillie was all decked out in red, white, and blue...even her hair!

Mel, Stef, and Maren enjoying family time at the parade.

Our group hanging out for the parade. Preston had a better offer this year and hung out with some friends from his soccer team. We did miss him this year, but that didn't keep us from shopping the Soccer Store. Hansen got a cool pair of Adidas! Thanks Stef!

After BBQ dinner in Burien at John and Carol's house, it was back home for fireworks and the traditional Triple Chocolate Mess! Triple yum!

Without Preston around, Hansen got to be our main pyrotechnic engineer. Hansen loved his role of lighting all the fireworks, and he did a great (and safe) job. This is of course ground snakes, but Hansen had probably the best arsenal of fireworks this house has ever had to offer at his fingertips. We really did have nice show.

Lillie leaping over a smoke bomb. The twins were out jumping in the smoke too. It was fun.

Showing off some dance moves with sparklers in each hand.

Some of our neighbors watching in awe...the neighborhood was an amazing war zone as usual.

Stef, Lillie, Carol, and John totally amazed! Apparently by different things, but amazed non the less! We did have fun with posed excitement.

Maren's big cheesy grin. The 4th of July is a fun day.
See you tomorrow.
