Good morning, it is Wednesday.
Yesterday ended up being a busy day for Hansen. Piano lessons were changed to yesterday, and he had baseball practice. Baseball is meant to be only an hour...but we have come to realize that it will always just be an hour and a half. He seems to be enjoying baseball and does talk about golf, but thinks that next year he will be ready for select soccer. I have talked with him a few times about not just following Preston's footsteps, but soccer seems to be the way he wants to go.
Yesterday Hansen had a substitute teacher who didn't give back work for the class to take home for homework. Hansen was just going with the flow figuring he was off the hook for the bulk of the homework...but others in the class must have been a bit more edgy. We (the whole class) ended up getting a couple extra e-mails in the evening by their teacher about how and what to do for homework. We had Hansen do some of the work, but the rest will wait until school today when he can actually get his outline in his hands.
Hansen (and I) really enjoyed yesterday. It was Star Wars day. It was fun to say, "May the 4th be with you!" Of course, when I hear that, I automatically think, "And also with you." But that is a church thing.
See you tomorrow.
