Band, pumpkin patch.

Good morning, it is Friday.

Last night Preston had a nice Band Informance. The teacher said that Informance is both for information and performance. It was fun, the teacher had the kids play a piece of music they never saw before, then he worked for a moment with each section, then they played it again, much better! Preston said it was not a set up, and it was kind of cool. Then three students got to come to the mic and read a short essay about why they got into music, Preston was the third of the three to read his. You could tell the three who were chosen to read were quite nervous, but Preston did very well. I video taped it and may post it one of these days depending on how it came out. Preston is in the middle left of this picture.

Lillie had a great field trip to the pumpkin patch. She brought home a little pumpkin and said she enjoyed the corn maze the best. Yes, the weather was cold and rainy, but the class had a great time. She did come home freezing cold and last night she took Preston's place on the couch...The comfy spot where you sit/lie down if your not feeling well. Since Preston was feeling better, we booted him and let Lillie be comfy. I hope she wakes up feeling great this morning!

Here is the big inflatable in front of our house. It looks cool with the lights when it is dark out.
Tonight Hansen is going to a trick or treat thing at a friend's church. I am sure he will be loaded up with candy big time. Hansen and Lillie get to bring their costumes to school today as their classes will have a "Harvest Day" party. I am sure it will be fun.
See you tomorrow.
