Lillie's turn, Book Fair finds.

Good morning, it is Thursday.

I hope you did not mind the last two blogs gushing over Preston and Hansen. Today is Lillie's turn, but in Kindergarten you don't have as many tests or competitions to just post scores and such. But I can tell you that Lillie is doing great, every bit as good as her brothers...maybe better. She is now going through 1st grade read well books in reading groups and is very good at math facts and counting. More than that, Lillie is a good citizen in her class. She sets good examples and is careful not to leave other kids out. We are every bit as proud of Lillie as we are of Hansen and Preston. Way to go Lillie, you rock.

Ok, so you are probably getting tired of crazy bragging about kids and no pictures. While I don't agree with Chuck about a blog not being a blog without pictures (sorry Chuck, throwing you under the bus with no warning), I will throw a few in here. These pics are of the kids and their book fair finds.

Lillie chose so many books that she could not hold them all up. They range from Fashion Design, to Power puff Girls, to Sassy. We have already read the bulk of these books and Lillie really enjoys "owning" her own books.
No surprise which books Hansen chose. Ripley's Believe It Or Not and World Records 2009. Besides Garfield and Little House On The Prairie books, these books are the ones Hansen enjoys just thumbing through.
Preston did not make it to both book fairs like the littles did. He only made it to his school's book fair, and he only wanted soccer books. Here is Preston with his only book, Soccer Super Stars. Of course he likes to point out all the incorrect information about how the players now play for different teams and such, but has been most interested in how different in size the players all are. While the world of professional sports gets bigger and buffer all the time, there are still some great soccer players in the 5'10" range.
See you tomorrow.

I wonder what is Chuck's opinion about blogs that have pictures without words! I think any combination provides an opportunity for self-expression and it's so much fun to feel close even though we're not right together. Your three kids are so fantastic. Parents pretty amazing too. Love, susanna

One of my favorite daily blogs is a photo blog named Seattle daily photo. Folks who speak with photos have amazing perspective. One of Maren's friends told her today that she was "with the guy under the bus."

Ha! I'm not sure Chuck meant that as his opinion of ALL blogs, probably just of my blog. I agree with Susanna, and I like your blogs nomatter what, but I do get all excited when I see pictures!!! Those are some good look'n kids you got there.

a picture is worth a thousand words, so it's just a matter of time management. haha love, susanna
