Costco

Good morning, it is Wednesday.

Last night we went to Costco. Yahoo, Costco. Did a little shopping and ate a little dinner...actually there is no such thing as "a little" anything at Costco, so we did a lot of shopping and ate a lot of dinner. Good thing we only do this one time a month. Preston was not with us as he is off to camp, and until you only have a party of four instead of the usual party of five, you don't really realize how much everything is geared to parties of four. The table fit us just perfectly, usually we have to put two tables together or let the boys sit at a different table or something like that. Hansen and Lillie had too much fun at Costco.

Hansen's favorite place was the house sized cold room. More specifically the entrance where the freezing cold air was blowing super hard. He just stood there in the wind looking like it was summer vacation...the air was freezing, guess he really just wanted to be outside or something. An unknown shopper looked at Hansen, then looked at me and shook his head and said, "that kid is crazy in the noodle!" What could I say, I just nodded my head in agreement. Hansen was very proud to be called crazy in the noodle, go figure.

On the drive home, Lillie was drawing a picture of a bicycle and wanting help. I told her to start with the wheels so she could fit the whole bicycle on the page. She kept working and after a minute or two had a very nice bicycle. Then out of no where she asks, "How do you draw an Eel?", "Why do you want to draw an Eel?" I asked. She answered, "you know, eels on wheels!" I guess you had to be there, eels on wheels? It was all very funny, I guess at school when learning about the letter "E", there is bit about "eels on wheels". Of course this turned into a whole thing from "meals on wheels", to "banana peels on wheels" and so on.

Today Lillie has dance class and Preston is missing soccer for camp.

See you tomorrow.

That totally made me laugh out loud! Your kids are the funniest.

Did Lillie's bike look like your new bike? I'm pretty impressed that you got such a good deal on your bike and fixed it up yourself. Let's hope you and it are both ready for 100 miles in June! Bring plenty of spare tires!
