Maren is home. Overnight, Ostergard's, Escalators.

Good morning, it is Monday.

We have had a busy couple of days. When I asked the boys to make a list of things they wanted to do over the break, they both wanted to have a friend spend the night and go to the skate park. There are other things such as go to the swimming pool and such, but we did get both of the first two out of the way. Saturday night Hansen had Kole spend the night and Preston had Connor spend the night. They all slept in a row on the living room and I let them have the TV on until midnight. Kole had said he was supposed to go to sleep around 10:30, but he just came to the wrong house. Hansen and Kole were out by midnight, Preston and Connor kept talking until later. Lillie was on the way to feeling left out, so I let her have an overnight with me. She got to sleep in Maren's spot, so she thought that was pretty fun.

Yesterday we headed into Burien early on the way to pick up Maren from the airport. We went to the skate part, then to Big 5, then the bicycle store, then to John and Carol's house for dinner and a visit. We also saw Mel, Court and the twins there. Hansen was so nice the twins. Preston slept on the couch, and Lillie was just hard to keep track of. We had a nice dinner and headed off to the airport.

Once at the airport, we parked in the hourly rate lot and wandered inside. We were there about 15 minutes early, and the kids wanted to just ride the very long escalators. When I agreed, they were a little surprised. The extremely long escalators over near the Airplanes hanging from the sky are quite fun. We must have gone up, then down, then up, then down, then up, then down about 15 times. Folks sitting in both the upper level and the lower level started to notice that we were just going up and down over and over again and were snickering a bit. Below are a few pics from the escalator.

Maren got home just fine and we are all just hanging out today.

Hansen with a hanging airplane in the background. Going up.
Preston having a fun time going round and round on the escalator. Going down.

Lillie on the escalator...she started to get a bit brave and standing backward without holding on and stuff. Going up.

Hansen just leading the way. Going down.
See you tomorrow.
