Lake Morton.

Good morning, it is Thursday.

Yesterday was a pretty calm day around here. Maren is packing for her ALA trip to Chicago this weekend and the rest of us are just cruising business as usual.

Last night at Lillie's dance class I used the time to walk around Lake Morton. Lake Morton is about a 2 mile loop which many people walk and bike everyday. Last night it was so foggy you could hardly see 20 yards in front of you. There were still plenty of walkers and bike riders. It seems that there are bicycle training classes or groups that practice pacing and drafting and possibly interval training around the two mile loop. When I got back to the waiting room at the dance class, a girl in Hansen's grade got up the courage to come up to me and ask, "Mr. Slane, is Hansen here tonight?" I said "Nope, he stayed home." What I did not say was how even if he was there, he would be too shy to say hi and would have spent the the whole time playing his GameBoy.

See you tomorrow.

That gooood girl must be interested in Hansen, too.

We saw your fog on TV - Microsoft was on the news for laying off zillions of workers when they'd just gotten permission for extra foreign workers to work there. It was definitely slanted to make Microsoft look bad - including the weather.
